The Basic Camp is not a "rules clinic", and isn't about umpiring perfection. The purpose is to build solid fundamental mechanics to help you be a better umpire at each and every level.

- Any umpire with less than 3 full years of umpiring experience.

All Umpires, please complete the 'Umpire Information Form' so we can update our payroll and 1099 reporting database. Also, use this form to send changes to your information on file in the event of a new mailing address, or new contact information. Thank you!

Once the schedule has been posted the following procedures will be in place:
Send me an e-mail by Wednesday noon with your availabilitry for the weekend. The schedule shown prior to Wednesday is an idea of what will happen. The final schedule and umpire assignments will be published Wednesday evening. Then confirm your assignments to me by e-mail preferably, or by phone if necessary. If you don't see games that fit your schedule, please send me your immediate availability for the duration of the posted schedule. Cancellations and game changes do occur. I schedule these vacancies with availability information first.
The umpire room phone number is 713-690-5564 ext. 213. This phone may or may not be answered. There is not someone in the umpire room at all times to answer the phone.
