For the fall of 2010 Baseball USA “The Yard” is offering a new “Open League/Short Season” format for youth teams from 6U through 14U and a regular season High School League.
The Youth League will offer two sessions, each 5 weeks long. Each team will play 5 games and receive 3 practices:
- Session 1 – September 7th thru October 7th
- Session 2 – October 11th thru November 11th
Choose one or both session for your team!
The High School League will be run as usual with a ten game schedule to be played Tuesday, September 7th thru Thursday, November 4th.
Games will be played Monday thru Thursday; game times will be 5:45 P.M. and 7:45 P.M. Practice time will be scheduled thru Jeff Hubbard at jeffh@baseballusa.com. One hour FREE cage rental is included for each Sunday during each session; reserve your cage in advance thru the Front Desk.
All schedules will be posted on Monday, August 30, 2010.

The Bronze League is a coach pitch league.
Designated field - #9
Registration for this league will be on a team basis, no individual registrations are accepted. Teams will be managed and coached by the designated person on the registration form.
Each team is required to provide all its own equipment. Baseballs (4 per game), umpires, scheduling, and field maintenance are part of each team’s registration fee.
The cost to play in this league is $525 per team, per session - $105 per game.
Designated fields:
9U & 10U- #4
11U - #3
12U - #2
Registration for this league will be on a team basis, no individual registrations are accepted. Teams will be managed and coached by the designated person on the registration form.
Each team is required to provide all its own equipment. Baseballs (4 per game), umpires, scheduling, and field maintenance are part of each team’s registration fee.
The cost to play in this league:
9U & 10U - $600 per team, per session- $120 per game
11U & 12U - $750 per team, per session - $150 per game
Designated fields:
13U - #11
14U - #10

Each team is required to provide all its own equipment. Baseballs (4 per game), umpires, scheduling, and field maintenance are part of each team’s registration fee.
The cost to play in this league is $800 per team, per session - $160 per game.
High School League | Varsity & Junior Varsity Divisions

High School Teams Only
Varsity, Junior Varsity, Sophomore & Freshman teams can be entered.
Designated fields:
Varsity - #1
JV, Sophomore & Freshman- #10
Registration for this league will be on a team basis, no individual registrations are accepted. Teams will be managed and coached by the designated person on the registration form. Teams can have players from different schools on their team to fill out their roster.
Each team is required to provide all its own equipment. Baseballs (picked up in the Pro Shop prior to the start of the season), umpires, scheduling, and field maintenance are part of each team’s registration fee.
Each team will provide two balls per game, from the baseballs provided for your team. Once this source is depleted, teams are responsible for providing additional balls.
The cost to play in this league is $1,650 per team.
What’s included in the Entry Fee?
Equipment
Each team is required to provide all its own equipment. Game balls (4 per game) will be provided for the youth teams.
High School teams must pick up balls from the Pro Shop prior to the start of the season.
Umpire Fees
Baseball USA will assign, schedule and reschedule qualified umpires for each of your games. The Umpires are the administrators of the game; please show them the courtesy that they deserve. This includes coaches, players, fans, and parents.
Gate Fees
There are no gate fees for league games.
Field & Cage Rental
Each Youth teams receive 3 FREE practices (Please reserve in advance thru Jeff Hubbard at jeffh@baseballusa.com), as well as one hour of FREE cage rental each Sunday during League Play (please reserve in advance thru the Front Desk).
When will Games be scheduled?
All league games will be scheduled Monday thru Thursday at either 5:45pm or 7:45pm. Teams will initially be scheduled one game per week; however, rescheduling rainout games, may make two games per week or double headers necessary. If a team forfeits a game, that game will not be made up and will stand as played.
Rainouts
If a game gets rained out, all efforts will be made to reschedule the game as quickly as possible, depending on availability of fields. It is possible that additional fields will be used if necessary.

What’s NOT included in the Entry Fee?
Team Insurance
Team insurance is not provided by Baseball USA. Proof of insurance must be provided before team participation can occur.
Practice Time/Field Rental & Batting Cages
Each Youth teams receive 3 FREE practices (Please reserve in advance thru Jeff Hubbard at jeffh@baseballusa.com), as well as one hour of FREE cage rental each Sunday during League Play (please reserve in advance thru the Front Desk).
Rental of fields will be on a first come, first serve basis. During the fall season the price of field rentals is $40/hr with a two hour minimum. Please note that when renting fields #10 & #11, only defensive practice is allowed - there is no repetitive hitting of any type allowed on either of these fields.
Batting cages will be offered at a reduced rate for all Fall League teams. The reduced rate is $30/hr and $20/half hour. The reduced rate is good only thru the Fall League season.

Organizational Meeting:
Thursday, August 19th.
The meeting will begin at 7pm and be held in the meeting room, upstairs at Baseball USA. These meetings will cover league rules and any other questions or concerns regarding league play. Team rosters & player contracts will be turned in at this meeting.
It is important that coaches attend this meeting, so please mark your calendar now.
Fees
All teams are required to register online. Credit card payment is required at the time of registration. Should your team decide not to play or other circumstances occur a refund will be given.
League Refunds
League game fees, as a result of inclement weather will be refunded when all league play has ended. No refunds will be given due to forfeitures.
