Renting a field:

Once all forms are on file, you can request field rental via the request form linked to the right or email jeffh@baseballusa.com.  When requesting field availability include the following:

  • Coach/Manager Name
  • Contact Numbers
  • Team Name
  • Age Group
  • Date & Times (Provide 2 or 3 dates and times that work for your team)

Fields are rented in two (2) hour increments.  Monday thru Thursday times are available from *4pm-6pm, 6pm-8pm, and 8pm-10pm.  ** Friday thru Sunday start times are 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm.  Field rentals are on a first come, first served basis.

* Rental times from 4pm-6pm Monday – Thursday may be discounted.  Ask Jeff for details.

** Note:  Weekend field rentals (Friday thru Sunday) may only be reserved after the Thursday of each week.

Field Availability:

Fields are available whenever league and tournament schedule’s permit.

Arrangements can be made to rent a particular field on a long term basis by contacting Jeff ahead of time.  A long term schedule is only permitted for practices Mondays thru Thursdays and a discount may apply if payment is made in advance.

Each Thursday, following the posting of the coming weekend’s tournament schedule, the availability of weekend practice will be known.  To inquire about weekend rentals please contact Jeff on Thursday of each week.

In the event that a league/tournament game is rained out and is rescheduled to a date of your scheduled practice, the league/tournament game will take precedence over the practice.  Every effort will be made to move the practice to an available field on the same date or reschedule that practice to another day.

Cost: (2 Hour Minimum Required)

Field Rental Rate: $50/hr with a two (2) hour minimum.

League Team Rate: $30/hr during league and tournament play.  At the end of league and tournament play the league teams will be given the summer and fall rate of $40/hr thru the remainder of the calendar year.

Payment:

Payment for field rentals will be processed at the end of each week.  In the event that a league and/or tournament game is rained out and rescheduled to a date of your scheduled practice your rental may be moved to an available field on the same day or it may also be moved to a future date and time.  You will be given a rain check that may be used for a future rental.

If a team would like to pre-pay for rentals, then they may qualify for the Baseball USA Field Rental Program

Baseball USA Field Rental Program:
$800 of Field Rentals = 2 Hours of Free Cage Rental

For every $800.00 of prepaid field rentals the team will receive two (2) FREE One Hour Cage Rentals (a $70.00 value).  Cages should be reserved thru the front desk at (713) 690-5055 during normal operating hours.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the field rental by email or voice to Jeff Hubbard to ensure no charges are incurred.  In the event a cancellation is received outside the 48 hour period or a team is a “no show” the full cost of the rental will be applied.

Age Groups:

Teams are placed on fields according to their age group.  Each field can accommodate two age groups.  When booking a field please remember to designate your team’s age group.

Rainout Number:

713-428-4350. This number is updated daily, with the latest details on field status beginning at 6:30am and throughout the day as weather changes occur.

Parking:

  • Parking is at each individual’s own risk.  This is a baseball facility and balls hit are not always confined to the field of play.
  • Do not park in any service drive area.
  • Do not leave purses, laptops, or other valuables in your car!
  • Lock your vehicle!

Lost and Found:

Our fields are checked each morning for any left or lost equipment, if you believe you have left equipment behind or personal belongings call 713.690.5055 or email info@baseballusa.com the next day and we will look thru our lost and found for your item(s).

Lights:

The lights on the fields will be turned off at 8pm and 10pm each night.  Ten minutes will be given to the teams once their practice time is over to gather their equipment and vacate the fields.  At that time all of the lights on the fields will be turned off (unless there is another scheduled practice after your practice).  If you need to talk with your team please do so in the concession area and make arrangements for alternate locations if your meeting will run past 10pm.  The entrance gate to the fields will be locked at close of business each night.

Fields Ten (10) and Eleven (11):

Batting practice is not allowed on these two fields.  This means ABSOLUTELY NO soft toss, pop-up nets, wiffle balls or any other type of batting practice is allowed. A team may scrimmage with another team or scrimmage within the team itself, but there must be a count of balls and strikes, three outs and a change of batters, or a coach may pitch to the batters to help speed up the scrimmage.  Please adhere to these rules as they are watched consistently by our managers.  Failure to adhere to these rules will result in your team being asked to leave the complex and a forfeiture of payment for that field rental will apply.

Misc Rules:

No pets are allowed.
No skate boards, no bikes, no scooters, and no skates.
Alcohol is not permitted.
